Owl Babies

Listen to the story Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. Talk about the story with your child. Tell your child your thoughts about the story and then ask them what they think.

Support your child to draw a picture of an owl. Talk about the different body parts e.g. wings, beak, etc. You could also talk about the different shapes that are used in the drawing.

Time to get creative! Can you make a snack or meal that looks like an owl?

Support your child to understand the language smallest, largest and in-between. You can do this by comparing the baby owls from the story. If possible, please print the document and cut and stick the owls in the correct order, or you could draw your own owls for your child to order.
