Welcome to Greet Primary School.
We are delighted to be welcoming you, and your child, to our school community.
At Greet we aim to develop an excellent relationship between home and school. For the children in the Early Years (Reception and Nursery) this is vitally important in helping pupils to settle, and feel safe and happy in school.
We know that starting school for the first time can be daunting. We have put together this overview of important dates and information to ensure you are kept informed about our transition process as well as how you can prepare your child at home.
Please continue to visit our website over the coming weeks as further induction information will be updated.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office on 0121 464 3360.

June 2022 - Stay & Play sessions
You and your child will be invited into school to attend a stay and play session. This is a great opportunity to meet the Reception Team and for your child to visit the Reception environment for the first time.
Throughout July - Induction phone calls
During July a member of our Reception Team will contact you to have a brief telephone conversation about your child.
The purpose of this is to begin to collect key information to help us get to know your child ahead of them starting with us (e.g. their favourite toys / interests, what they are good at, what they need help with).

Your child class teachers will visit you and your child at home.
Appointment times will be agreed with you during your phone calls,
