Mr Haydon is heading to Windsor Castle

I have been lucky enough to have been invited to attend Windsor Castle to witness a huge celebration for the Queen’s 90th Birthday.  To make it a great experience for all of our children at school, I am using the event to show the children how technology can be used to help people communicate from across the world. The event  will most likely make the evening news so watch out for it!

In school, on Friday, the children will get the chance to watch the event at 2.30pm, joining over 500,000 people watching online.

I will be making videos and taking photos as I travel and attend the event, encouraging teachers to show these to the children during school.  You can also follow along at home, and show it to your children afterwards.

  • Check our school Twitter account for updates and photos:
  • Check out school YouTube account for videos: Search for ‘Greet Primary School’ on and our account will be the top result.
  • Check out School Website for other information and to download some exclusive resources such paper chain templates, royal food recipes and quizzes:

As always, encourage your child to use the internet in a safe and careful manner.  I hope to see you all online!

Mr Haydon,

Assistant Headteacher.
